aprentas performs an aptitude test with all potential candidates to help the apprenticeship companies recruit apprentices. The apprenticeship company then receives the results and assumes responsibility for obtaining any further clarifications required. The apprenticeship company is always responsible for deciding whether to take on an apprentice.
Member companies can also transfer the mandate for recruiting their apprentices to aprentas on the basis of a service agreement. aprentas takes on all tasks required for concluding the agreed number of apprenticeship contracts. This includes:
evaluating the applications;
conducting school and practical proficiency tests;
making a reasoned recommendation to the apprenticeship company; and
all associated administrative tasks.
The decision as to whether to start an apprenticeship always lies with the apprenticeship company, which is also responsible for any additional clarifications within the company.
